About Holyrood's Digital Health and Care Awards
This year we will host our third annual Digital Health & Care Awards. This is the only event celebrating excellence and innovation in Scotland’s growing digital health and care sector.
The Awards recognise the achievements of individuals and teams working in the health and social care sector. Creativity and innovation in the sector is improving the lives of people across the country. Positioning Scotland at the forefront of the digital revolution in health and social care.
Once again, the 2020 awards will be held the Waldorf Astoria in Edinburgh. With views of Edinburgh Castle this is the perfect setting to celebrate successes from across health and care. This is the perfect evening to celebrate success and once again the informal networking will give colleagues from across the country the opportunity to share stories and explore collaboration opportunities.
Guest of Honour: Jeane Freeman, Cabinet Secretary for Health & Sport. In 2019 Jeane gave an uplifting opening speech that highlighted the incredible effort that health and care providers put in to provide the highest quality care and presented the awards to our Digital Leader and Digital Impact winners. We look forward to welcoming her again.
Host: Pennie Taylor, Health Journalist and Broadcaster. Penny expertly hosted the awards in 2019, creating a great atmosphere and building the tension before the awards were announced.
We look forward to welcoming both Jeane Freeman and Pennie Taylor again for the 2020 awards.
